Anthony Veder expands StarIPS contract for four new vessels

10 November, 2015. Recently, Anthony Veder has awarded MirTac/SIS a contract to install and implement the Star fleet management software on its four new vessels. Anthony Veder is already using Star for 8 years onboard its fleet and in the office.

In the next months, both Anthony Veder and MirTac will work on building databases for the new vessels regarding maintenance, purchasing, safety and crew management. Anthony Veder uses StarIPS to manage onboard processes and procedures, which also entails stock control, vessel administration and document control. The vessels communicate seamlessly with the office and vice versa, resulting in transparent and efficient fleet management whilst meeting all safety, environmental, health and customer regulations such as ISM and ISPS.

Anthony Veder is further rejuvenating its fleet with this purchase of four modern gas tankers from L.G.R. di Navigazione S.p.A. while at the same time maintaining its high standards in providing safe and efficient shipping tonnage to its clients. The 4000 CBM semi pressurized/fully refrigerated gas carriers will be delivered the coming months and renamed Coral Medusa and Coral Monactis. The 8000 CBM ethylene carriers, Coral Pearl and Coral Patula will arrive shortly after.

Anthony Veder, established in 1937, operates a fleet of 30 gas tankers, including five gas tankers that are fuelled by LNG. The Rotterdam based shipping company employs over 800 people. More info on www.anthonyveder.com.
