JR Shipping
JR Shipping focuses on the market for container feeder vessels up to 1.400 TEU (20’ container). Between 2003 and 2006 the company took delivery of no less than 8 newly built vessels: 6 with a capacity of 750 TEU, and 2 with a capacity of 868 TEU. Half 2007, the fleet comprises 21 container feeder vessels. More Containerships (1.440 TEU each) are to be built in the next years. The professional ship management organisation as well as the dedicated staff on board of the vessels stimulate the excellent performance of the JR Shipping fleet for their charterers. The ability to direct all important success factors, such as project development, ship finance, operational ship management and charter brokerage is JR Shipping’s competitive strength. |
